Thank You Boston
What a fantastic welcome we had last weekend at the Boston Wine Expo. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to taste our Rose. Most of all thank you for all your encouraging words! We had a blast and will be back soon!

Hello Boston and New York City!
Hello Boston! We are coming your way…the wait is over to try our Rose wine. We will be at the Boston Wine Expo, February 16 – 17, 2013. We are looking forward to introducing you to our wine and story. To get you started, back in May, Keryl appeared on Fox 25/MyFoxBoston and told our story about the book, the tweet and the wine. Now you will be able to wrap your hands around the glass and taste our wine. Just visit us in booth 284 for some wine and other exciting things!
Our next stop after the Boston Wine Expo is the New York Wine Expo March 1-3, 2013. If you stopped by and saw us last year, this year will be just as much fun! Look for us here at table 532.
Now for the fun part! When you visit us at either show you will have a chance to enter to win a pair of SHE-BALLS. Yes SHE-BALLS!!! Happy Bitch Wines Finger Lakes Experience
The weekend of July 13 we traveled to the Finger Lakes to take part in the Finger Lakes Wine Festival. Debbie, Keryl and Debbie’s husband Paul(aka..Mr. Hudson Valley Wine Goddess) packed up 40 cases of wine, glasses, shirts, 3000 tattoos and 4000 stickers and made the trek up Rt. 17 to the beautiful Finger Lakes Wine Region.
The first stop was the Watkins Glen International to drop off the wine and park the van for the weekend. After unloading we headed out to go wine tasting. Yes, that is what you do when you are in a wine region. We drove on up to Herman Wiemer Vineyards to taste and have a picnic lunch.
A quick check in at our wonderful B&B The Manor, change of clothes and we were off the the Boatyard Grill in Ithaca for a Happy Bitch Wines Rosé tasting. What a great place! Right on the water, under the tent with a great band. We wanted to make sure everyone got to sample Happy Bitch Rosé so Keryl took to the tables.
After a wonderful breakfast prepared by Bonnie and Richard at The Manor, we headed to the track our first day of the Finger Lakes Wine Festival. Thank goodness we had a big breakfast to start our day with, because there was no time to eat again until after the festival was over.
Hudson Valley Balloon Festival Launch
Friday evening in the sweltering heat we were proud to serve our Rose at Greig Farm for the launch of the Hudson Valley Wine Festival’s balloon that kicked of the weekend of the Hudson Valley Balloon Festival.
We had a special treat – Happy Bitch tattoos which were a big hit, even with the guys!
Best part of the evening (besides the balloons going off) were the three ladies that came to have a toast to their friend Eileen, who was unable to be with them tonight. A toast to you Eileen!
And the balloons were off……

She will have all the “Happy Bitch” merchandise for sale. Pick mom up a tank and wine glass to go with the bottle of Rose. Mom will be one “Happy Bitch!”

Touring New York State
We’re hitting the road again. Next week our distributor Empire Merchants North is hosting 3 trade shows and we will be traveling to Syracuse, Rochester and Buffalo. The following week we travel to Albany and the Hudson Valley. These 5 trade shows are for liquor store owners, restaurants, sommeliers, basically anyone who is in charge of purchasing wine for their establishment.
If you live in any of these areas and would like to see our wine in a liquor store or restaurant, now is the time to tell the managers. Tell them to come up to our table at the Empire Merchants show and taste our wine. We’ll take care of the rest.
This is going to be a trip down memory lane for Debbie. She went to college in Buffalo, and the Buffalo show is in the building she worked in many years ago. This will be the first time she will be back in downtown Buffalo since graduation. I guess wings and beef on weck are on the menu Wednesday night. Any dining suggestions?

Happy Bitch Wines would like to be voted the Best New Wine in the Hudson Valley for 2012 and we need your help!

If we win “Best New Hudson Valley Wine” we’ll be at the Best of party September 27, where we can all celebrate together. Who knows what we will bring to give to our fans!

Wine Tasting and bOObart a Perfect Pairing
On Saturday, March 16 Debbie will be at Red White & Brew in Mt. Holly, New Jersey along with the bOObart women. Debbie will be there talking about Happy Bitch Wines and have Keryl’s book for sale and the ladies from bOObart will be stamping glasses.
What is bOObart you might ask. Totally G rated and supports a great cause. It’s a perfect pairing!
bOObart is a campaign with a mission to help raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research and individuals battling breast cancer. All of their artwork is made with creativity, love, humor and some unique “tools”…their breasts.
Let’s face it, is there really any better way to raise awareness of breast cancer than with the boobs themselves? They use their boobs to paint pictures, which are then made into calendars that we sell as a fundraiser. They will be there stamping glasses with their bOObs on Saturday.
This is very close to Debbie’s heart as she has lost friends to breast cancer. Maybe the bOObart ladies will teach her how to paint or at least stamp a glass.
