This is a great recipe from Betty Crocker with a little bit of Happy Bitch intervention.  This can be made as a 13×9 cake, bundt cake, cupcake or cupcake tops.  If you attended the Red, White & Brew Ladies Night Out you got to taste the cupcake tops made with Happy Bitch Sauvignon Blanc.  Happy Baking!

Happy Bitch Sauvignon Cake or Cupcakes
  1. Cake
  2. 1 box Betty Crocker SuperMoist or Duncan Hines yellow cake mix
  3. 1/2 cup water
  4. 1/2 cup Happy Bitch Wines Sauvignon Blanc
  5. 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  6. 3 eggs
  7. 2 tsp grated lemon peel
  8. Frosting
  9. 6 cups powdered sugar
  10. 1/3 cup butter, softened
  11. 1/8 tsp salt
  12. 2/3 cup Happy Bitch Sauvignon Blanc
  13. 1tsp grated lemon peel
  1. Cake: Heat oven to 350. Make cake batter as directed on box using water, 1/2 cup wine, oil, eggs and 2 tsp lemon peel. Put into 13x9 cake pan, bundt cake pan or cupcake pan. Bake 20 - 25 minutes until toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool. If making cupcake tops cook for 10 - 15 minutes
  2. Frosting In a large bowl, beat powdered sugar, butter and salt with electric mixer until blended. Beat in lemon peel and 2/3 cup Happy Bitch Sauvignon Blanc. Frost and sprinkle with hot pink sugar crystals.
